Reinforced Cast Concrete Pool, Sevenoaks
A stunning garden that was perfect for a swimming pool for the whole family to enjoy. The clients requested a sleek, high-performance pool that blends seamlessly into the modern landscape of their home, their main goals focused on longevity, efficiency and high-quality construction. To ensure the client’s brief was delivered from start to finish we built a reinforced concrete pool shell to BS EN 1992 (Eurocode 2) Standards. Every component was chosen to maximise efficiency and quality. The pool was built over a wet and muddy winter period meaning the team took extra care with all aspects of health and safety and cleanliness of the site.
With tight plant room conditions, the engineering team ensured that pump cavitation was avoided with a 10x bore diameter pipeline – ensuring a well calibrated system with a variable speed pump to run within optimum flow velocities. All the while ensuring minimal heat loss and maximum energy efficiency with a high COP air source heat pump and fully insulated slatted auto cover working in unison to ensure comfortable swimming temperatures at manageable running costs over the a longer swimming season.
A great swimming pool project that is built to last and looks amazing. A great space for the family to enjoy long summer evenings and make those lifelong memories. SPATA Category Award Winner – Residential Outdoor Concrete Pools under £130k.
This award-winning project is one of several examples of our swimming pool construction in Sevenoaks, alongside local one-piece installations and major pool refurbishments.
