One-Piece Pool
with Counter-Current

With space constraints and a keen eye for design our client knew that they wanted something special. Their requests included a low-maintenance pool for daily exercising and family leisure, and that would not only become the aesthetic focal point of the garden but would also blend with the style and flow of the space.

The final design landed on a one-piece pool that offered efficient installation, cost-efficiency and design flexibility. We were able to incorporate a Binder counter-current swim unit, a custom stainless steel cover tray and lid system for the ultimate luxury finish and we integrated a slatted automatic cover into the final product. We included premium filtration systems and stainless fittings throughout to ensure the quality, finish and ease of maintenance the clients were so eager for.

That is not to say that challenges were not present throughout the project, craning of the pool required planning with an adjacent school property for full safe access, requiring permits and precision lifting. Prior to the shell install we found that the spatial limitations of the plant room meant the team had to design the plant room layout for optimum performance; including raising the pump to optimise priming.

As can be the case with bespoke natural stone there were unavoidable delays from the quarry – despite this we were determined to ensure our clients could use the pool over the summer. So we got to work installing a temporary stone surround that was safe and sufficient to allow full pool access until the final stone was able to be laid.

The result is something we are eternally proud of. In spite of any challenges that may arise – in all of our projects we work very hard to innovate, workaround and anticipate all eventualities to ensure the best possible experience for our clients and their swimming pool projects.

Another award-winning pool that proves luxury and efficiency can co-exist even in the tightest of garden space –  SPATA Gold Award Winner in the category of Residential Outdoor One-Piece Pools.

This project is one example of our swimming pool construction in Bromley, where we assess the available space, access and intended use before recommending the most appropriate pool and installation method.
