This project began with a clear client vision – to breathe new life into an outdated L-shaped swimming pool, transforming it into a sleek, modern showpiece with clean lines and a high-waterline aesthetic.

After in-depth structural testing confirmed the integrity of the existing concrete shell and surrounding ground, we moved forward with a carefully planned refurbishment. The original L-shape pool was reimagined as a contemporary rectangular swimming pool, complete with a cast custom corner step unit and integrated perimeter ledge – blending practicality with remarkable design.

Every stage of the build underwent rigorous pressure, soak, and dye testing to ensure long-term durability. A granite-effect liner was selected to perfectly complement the pool’s modern aesthetic, while a discreetly integrated slatted automatic cover adds both visual elegance and reliable protection against debris and heat loss.

To maximise value and stay within budget, we upgraded the existing equipment where possible, enhancing the system with a UV and saltwater unit for crystal-clear, low-maintenance water. The result? A striking transformation that sits effortlessly within the garden’s landscape.

This award-winning refurbishment, recognised with a SPATA Silver Award for Refurbishment of the Year 2024, is a true testament to our ability to reimagine tired spaces into beautiful, functional, and future-ready pools.
