New Concrete Pool

For this family home, the brief was to create a pool that would become a natural part of everyday life: somewhere the children could swim and play, the family could spend more time outside together, and the garden could feel more complete during the warmer months.

The residential outdoor pool was designed around a 7m x 4m steel-reinforced concrete shell, creating a durable, permanent structure with the flexibility for bespoke details.

The specification included a constant-depth pool, commercial-grade on-site lining, integrated underwater lighting, natural stone coping and an overflow cover system. Together, these details helped create a cleaner, more refined waterline while supporting heat retention, safety and day-to-day practicality.

Behind the finished appearance, the project was carefully considered from the plant room through to heating, filtration, poolside plumbing, groundworks coordination and handover. The result was a robust, well-specified pool designed for long-term use, not simply a surface-level installation.

The finished pool feels both practical and personal: a considered addition to the home, designed for swimming, family time and the way the clients wanted to live around the garden.

This project is one example of our swimming pool construction in Maidstone, where we design each pool around the available space, how it will be used and the practical requirements of the property.
