A One-Piece Pool Designed for Outdoor Living
This project was designed as more than a swimming pool. The client wanted to create a dedicated outdoor wellness and entertaining area within the garden: a place to swim, relax, cook, gather with family and enjoy the space throughout the warmer months.
At the centre of the scheme is a one-piece pool, chosen for its smooth finish, quick installation and reliable long-term performance. The pool includes a beach-style shallow end, creating a generous lounging and access area where the water can be enjoyed more informally, whether sitting, relaxing or easing into the pool.
Around the pool, the client opted for composite Millboard decking, providing the warmth and appearance of timber with a highly practical, maintenance free finish. This helped create a clean, comfortable poolside area without the ongoing upkeep associated with traditional timber decking.
The wider garden space was designed around outdoor living, with dedicated areas for seating, dining, a pizza oven and BBQ. Together, these elements turn the pool into part of a larger lifestyle space rather than a standalone garden feature.
The result is a relaxed and highly usable outdoor area that brings together swimming, wellness, entertaining and family time. Practical, low-maintenance and designed for everyday enjoyment, it gives the client a garden space that feels complete.
