There are lots of variables when it comes to the price of a swimming pool, including its size, construction method, finishes and specification. Typically, our swimming pool projects range from £65,000 to £150,000+.

No. The right size depends on your garden and how you want to use the pool.

Our Maidstone family pool measures 7m × 4m, with a constant depth of 1.5m. The brief was to create somewhere the children could swim and play and the family could spend more time outside together, so the design focused on making the available pool space useful rather than simply making it as large as possible.

This is considered as part of the pool design. Depending on the property, equipment can be housed in a dedicated plant room or another suitable location with the access and services it requires.

For our Maidstone project, the equipment was incorporated into the pool house, giving the team good access for servicing while keeping the technical equipment away from the main garden.

We construct pools all year round, but there are conditions and situations that we have to take into account, such as air temperature and even material temperatures. If either one of these is too high and too low, it can affect crystallisation and strength of the bonding and construction materials we use. Luckily, we know what we’re doing and won’t do anything that might negatively affect the quality of your pool. To guarantee a long-lasting and well-built pool, ALWAYS use the services of a professional and accredited company.

Swimming pools typically start at 5m in length and in domestic settings normally extend up to 16m or longer. But if you prefer a 25m lap pool or even a compact 2.5m × 2.5m plunge pool, we can build that too. It really depends on how much space you have.

Absolutely! We highly recommend and encourage customising your swimming pool to be exactly as you want. This could be as simple as choosing a unique coloured tile or surround, or as extensive as adding a custom beach area, swim training zone, or specialised steps. A pool is a lifetime investment that you want to use all year round for exercise, entertainment and relaxation, so make it your own.

Outdoor domestic swimming pools typically don’t require planning permission since they can usually be installed under permitted development rights. They’re considered incidental to the enjoyment of the main house and can be built without an application, as long as they meet specific limits and conditions.
We recommend checking with your local planning authority, especially if your property or the surrounding area has any of the following classifications:

• Designated land
• National park
• Green Belt land
• Listed building
• Conservation area.

A typical in-ground swimming pool installation takes 4 to 16 weeks, though some projects can be completed in as little as 3 weeks. The timeline varies based on the pool type (Gunite, Cast Concrete or Mono-block), size, complexity and custom features. Concrete pools generally take longer due to the curing process, especially for complex custom projects – but their customisation options and durability make the extra time worthwhile.
