Swimming Pool Enclosures
Swimming Pool enclosures offer so many benefits, particularly in owning a pool in the UK. By installing a swimming dome over your pool you can create an all round swimming space without the worry and expense of creating an indoor swimming pool.
You can swim with the dome closed in the winter and retract it completely to enjoy open air swimming in the height of summer. Eliminate the need to shut down your pool over the winter and use it all year round.
At Mermaid we work closely with our supplier who craft the widest range of polycarbonate swimming pool enclosures on the market.
With several heights available clients that would prefer not to have high structure in their garden can opt for a low level pool enclosure, keeping the view of the landscape restriction free. We can also install high level pool dome covers that can be large enough to incorporate an outdoor leisure living space, meaning you can use your garden in all weathers. You can also prolong the life of your garden furniture by storing it in your pool enclosure, protecting it from the elements and preserving the lifespan.

Retractable Swimming Pool Roof
With our retractable swimming pool roof you can quickly and easily slide your panels back to expose your pool area to the open air with the unique functionality of step-on sliding rails.
You can also save on pool heating costs as our polycarbonate pool domes act like a greenhouse and keep the heat in and lead to less reliance on your heating system. You will also notice a significant drop in evaporation of your pool water, helping to keep the temperature of your pool exactly where you want it.
With unrivalled service and aftercare your retractable swimming pool enclosure will enhance your swimming pool ownership to no end.
With a fully lockable option, keep your pets and family safe and protect them from harmful UV rays, full days in the pool will keep you all endlessly entertained.
Hot Tub Enclosures
If you own a hot tub or swim spa we can also offer sleek and stylish retractable hot tub enclosures.
These can be fitted onto a level ground base including wooden decking and paving, with endless compositions and positioning you can create the best enclosure for your needs.
You can even purchase a lean to option that connects to your home, no more dashes from the hot tub back to the house and getting cold!
All enclosures are fitted with ventilation to avoid over heating and super smooth retractable panels so you can enjoy the outdoors 365 days a year.
Patio Enclosures
Even if you don’t own a pool or spa that doesn’t mean you cannot benefit from a retractable patio enclosure.
Avoid the cumbersome work of installing a conservatory or a bifold extension, simply install a retractable enclosure to your existing patio. You can be dining al fresco all year round, protect yourself from the wind and rain but allow the outside feel in.
Lean-to structures with vertical walls allows you to maximalise the interior space of the enclosure and increase its usability. The whole enclosure works on two rails – one is mounted on the house and one on the ground. Thanks to those rails you can slide each section in both directions.
There are endless uses of the patio enclosure – you can create a covered outdoor dining area or simply storage space.
